Qualification:
Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) from a University/Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India – regular full-time course only
Age Relaxtion:
Age Limit (as on 30 April 2026)
- General (UR) / EWS: Maximum age should not exceed 30 years.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Eligible for a relaxation of 3 years (upper age limit up to 33 years).
- SC / ST Candidates: Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable (maximum age up to 35 years).
- J&K Domicile Applicants: Candidates who resided in Jammu & Kashmir between 01 Jan 1980 and 31 Dec 1989 are entitled to 5 years relaxation as per Government rules.
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Age relaxation will be provided according to Government of India norms, with the upper age capped at 56 years.
- Departmental Candidates (CIL/Subsidiaries): No upper age restriction applies.
