Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released a new recruitment notification for 19 vacancies including Safety Officer, Project Manager and other technical posts. Candidates holding B.Tech, B.E or Diploma qualifications are eligible to apply. Qualification:
Full-time Degree in Mechanical / Production & Industrial / Automobile / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering, Diploma in Industrial Safety + Degree/Diploma in Engineering OR Degree/Diploma in Science (Physics/Chemistry)
Age Relaxtion:
Candidates applying for KRCL Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the prescribed upper age limits as of 01 May 2026. Post-wise age eligibility details are given below:
- Project Manager / Mechanical – Maximum age should not exceed 45 Years
- Project Engineer / Mechanical – Applicants can apply up to 50 Years
- Junior Technical Assistant / Mechanical – Upper age limit is 45 Years
- Safety Officer – Candidates up to 55 Years are eligible to apply
KRCL Age Relaxation Rules 2026
KRCL has also provided category-wise relaxation in the upper age limit according to government norms:
- OBC-NCL Candidates: 3 Years relaxation
- SC Category Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (applicable for reserved vacancies only)
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation may be granted based on KRCL discretion and applicable rules
